50 miles

I registered for the Challenge Walk! September, San Diego. Walking 50 miles in three days after fundraising $2500 minimum certainly isn't easy, but that's the point. It's something that I can do - to defy this miserable disease that made my mom's life difficult every day. A big, meaningful challenge that I choose to take on for the third time this fall - in honor of Mom and everyone affected by MS. Join me; I dare you.

MS took from Mom the ability to walk, to paint, to ride horses, to raise her children, to see, to speak, to know her grandchildren... everything that makes being human worthwhile. MS forced my younger siblings into adulthood - and my sister and I into motherhood - without a mother's wisdom. MS has taken much from me and my family... and I'm taking too. Taking one summer to fundraise, taking one weekend out of my life to do something about MS, taking one step after another to defy this disease. Again, join me. I dare you.
